What You'll Do:
As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations. You will be responsible for the accurate movement, storage, and distribution of goods to ensure our customers receive their orders on time.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Verify incoming and outgoing inventory against shipping documents.
- Organize warehouse space to maximize efficiency and safety.
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) to track stock levels.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist in the preparation of orders for shipment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with barcode scanners.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Valid driver's license (Class C) preferred but not required.
- Forklift certification is a strong plus.
