Responsibilities
- Load/unload materials from trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Inspect materials for damage and maintain accurate inventory records
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently per OSHA standards
- Organize and store materials in designated areas using FIFO principles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet shipping deadlines
- Maintain clean, hazard-free work areas through regular 5S practices
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/material handling experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Commitment to workplace safety protocols
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check
