Responsibilities
- Efficiently move, load, and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage, documenting discrepancies
- Maintain organized inventory using barcode scanners and warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production targets
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Operate power equipment safely and report maintenance needs
- Support warehouse cleanliness and 5S methodology implementation
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/material handling experience required
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy with experience in inventory tracking software
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
