Responsibilities
- Accurately receive, scan, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials within warehouse and loading docks
- Maintain organized inventory storage systems and implement FIFO rotation protocols
- Pack and prepare outgoing shipments with proper labeling and documentation
- Conduct daily equipment safety checks and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow efficiency
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) for real-time inventory tracking
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification a plus
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/material handling experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn WMS software
- Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
