Responsibilities
- Efficiently move, load, and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques
- Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage, documenting discrepancies
- Maintain organized inventory systems using warehouse management software
- Operate powered equipment safely and in compliance with OSHA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and meet deadlines
- Adhere to 5S principles for workplace organization and cleanliness
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/material handling experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- OSHA 10-hour certification a plus
