Responsibilities
- Efficiently move, store, and track inventory using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment
- Perform receiving and shipping tasks including unloading trucks, verifying shipments, and processing documentation
- Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and system updates
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness and compliance with OSHA safety standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production and shipping deadlines
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking
- Identify and resolve material discrepancies promptly
- Train new hires on material handling protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
- Valid forklift certification with 1+ years of operating experience
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
