Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move products throughout the facility
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS systems and barcode scanning technology
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure optimal safety and performance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production and shipping targets
- Implement lean principles to optimize warehouse workflows and reduce waste
- Adhere to OSHA and company safety protocols at all times
- Train new team members on material handling procedures and equipment operation
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of warehouse or material handling experience
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems and barcode scanners
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
