Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload materials from trucks and containers using forklifts/pallet jacks
- Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, scanners, palletizers) following OSHA standards
- Maintain accurate inventory counts through cycle counting and system updates
- Organize and stage products for efficient distribution to production lines
- Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies to supervisors
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and 5S workplace organization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipping targets
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/material handling experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand 8+ hours daily
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends during peak seasons
