Responsibilities
- Efficiently load/unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Execute precise inventory management through cycle counts and stock rotation
- Maintain OSHA compliance standards in all material handling activities
- Operate warehouse management systems for real-time inventory tracking
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Inspect materials for damage and coordinate quality control procedures
- Implement lean principles to minimize waste and maximize productivity
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/material handling experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly with proper technique
- Basic computer literacy for WMS operation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
