Responsibilities
- Efficiently move, load, and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling
- Maintain accurate inventory records through barcode scanning and digital systems
- Inspect and prepare shipments for transportation while ensuring compliance with safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse workflow and minimize downtime
- Operate material handling equipment in compliance with OSHA and company standards
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; 1+ years warehouse/material handling experience preferred
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and barcode scanners
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with problem-solving and time management skills
- Basic math proficiency for inventory reconciliation and shipment verification
