Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods safely and efficiently.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of debris.
- Package and palletize orders for shipment with precision and care.
- Communicate effectively with team leads regarding inventory needs and workflow.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CDL Class B is a plus but not required).
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic reading and math skills for inventory tracking.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends.
