Responsibilities
- Safely operate material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems
- Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage, maintaining detailed inventory records
- Organize and store materials in designated warehouse zones following FIFO protocols
- Coordinate with shipping/receiving teams to optimize workflow and minimize delays
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks and report safety concerns immediately
- Support inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure 99.5% accuracy
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace compliant with OSHA standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/material handling experience
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Proficient in WMS systems and basic inventory software
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- OSHA 10-hour certification a plus
