Responsibilities
- Efficiently move, load, and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques
- Manage inventory with precision, including cycle counts and data entry in WMS systems
- Ensure warehouse safety compliance through proper equipment operation and hazard prevention
- Coordinate shipping/receiving processes to maintain optimal workflow and on-time deliveries
- Maintain organized storage areas and implement lean principles for space optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production and distribution targets
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/material handling experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification and OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle WMS)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document transactions
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree a plus
