Responsibilities
- Efficiently move materials and products throughout the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment
- Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage, documenting discrepancies
- Maintain organized inventory storage systems and assist with cycle counting
- Operate warehouse machinery safely and in compliance with OSHA standards
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and productivity
- Maintain clean and safe work areas by adhering to 5S principles
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or material handling experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Commitment to workplace safety standards
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
