Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in compliance with OSHA regulations
- Accurately process inbound/outbound shipments using WMS systems (SAP experience a plus)
- Perform cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain 99.9% inventory accuracy
- Organize and maintain warehouse layout for optimal space utilization and efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production and shipping deadlines
- Implement 5S methodology to maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free workspaces
- Train on new equipment and processes to continuously improve operational excellence
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/material handling experience with forklift certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hour shifts
- Basic proficiency with warehouse management systems and inventory software
- Strong attention to detail with commitment to safety protocols
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (for equipment operation)
- Ability to work in climate-controlled warehouse environment (30-80°F)
- Preferred: Experience with hazardous materials handling (DOT Hazmat training)
