Responsibilities
- Efficiently load/unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes while maintaining safety protocols
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage/discrepancies and maintain accurate inventory records
- Organize and optimize warehouse storage systems to maximize space utilization and accessibility
- Operate warehouse management systems to track material movements and update inventory databases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production and shipping deadlines
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks and report operational issues promptly
- Adhere to OSHA and company safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ years warehouse/material handling experience
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Basic computer literacy and data entry skills
