Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Material Handling: Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move, stack, and organize inventory within the warehouse.
- Stock Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse floor, ensuring all products are properly labeled and stored.
- Data Entry: Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track stock levels and update inventory records in real-time.
- Shipping & Receiving: Prepare and pack customer orders for shipment, ensuring proper packaging to prevent damage during transit.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory management software or RF scanners is a plus.
- License: Valid Driver’s License required; Forklift certification is a major plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to safety.
