Responsibilities
- Efficiently move and organize inventory using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques
- Maintain accurate stock records through barcode scanning and inventory management systems
- Inspect materials for damage and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Coordinate with shipping/receiving teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and perform daily maintenance checks
- Support inventory audits and cycle count initiatives
- Uphold OSHA standards and 5S workplace organization principles
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/material handling experience required
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
