Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move products throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Control: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing lists to ensure accuracy.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and label orders for shipment, ensuring all products are ready for delivery.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by following OSHA safety guidelines and housekeeping protocols.
- Stock Management: Perform cycle counts and assist in inventory audits to keep stock records current.
- Equipment Care: Perform routine maintenance checks on material handling equipment and report any issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is a plus, but not required for the right candidate.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and walk on concrete floors.
- Skills: Basic computer skills and familiarity with handheld scanners or warehouse management systems.
- License: Valid driver's license required.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
