Responsibilities
- Load and Unload:** Safely load and unload inbound and outbound shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management:** Accurately count, sort, and organize stock to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Forklift Operation:** Operate sit-down and reach forklifts to move materials efficiently and safely within the warehouse.
- Picking and Packing:** Fulfill customer orders by picking items from the warehouse floor and preparing them for shipment.
- Warehouse Organization:** Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by sweeping, mopping, and organizing storage areas.
- Safety Compliance:** Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents.
- Documentation:** Complete necessary paperwork, including packing slips and shipping logs, accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED: Minimum requirement for all applicants.
- Forklift Certification: Valid forklift license is preferred but not required (on-the-job training provided).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in counting and order fulfillment.
- Basic Computer Skills: Comfortable using handheld scanners and basic warehouse management software.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
