- Inventory Control: Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels within the warehouse management system.
- Packaging: Properly package, label, and prepare items for shipping to ensure safe transit.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Organization: Keep storage areas clean, orderly, and accessible to optimize workflow efficiency.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect goods for damage or defects before processing them into inventory.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or material handling experience is a plus but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory software is preferred.
- License: Valid forklift certification (Class A or B) is highly desirable.
