Responsibilities
- Efficiently move, load, and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques
- Maintain accurate inventory records through systematic scanning and data entry
- Inspect and prepare shipments for transportation, ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse workflow and space utilization
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Support cycle counts and physical inventory audits as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of material handling or warehouse experience
- Valid OSHA certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including occasional weekends
