Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight from trailers and containers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, damage, and quantity discrepancies.
- Utilize RF scanners to maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system.
- Organize stock in designated areas to ensure efficient workflow and retrieval.
- Perform regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of debris.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or material handling preferred.
- Ability to obtain forklift certification within 30 days of hire.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld devices.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
