Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels by conducting regular cycle counts and managing incoming shipments.
- Packing & Shipping: Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep the storage area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations (OSHA).
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of material handling equipment and report any issues.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
- Skills: Ability to operate forklifts (certification preferred but training may be available).
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory tracking and order fulfillment.
- Availability: Must be available to work various shifts, including nights and weekends if necessary.
