Responsibilities
- Safely move, load, and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts in our WMS system
- Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor
- Organize and store materials in designated areas following FIFO principles
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and adhere to all OSHA regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Minimum 6 months of warehouse or material handling experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain through our program)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Excellent time management skills with ability to work independently
- Flexible availability to cover varying shifts including weekends if needed
