Responsibilities
- Receiving & Staging: Receive incoming shipments, inspect goods for damage, and accurately stage materials for distribution.
- Picking & Packing: Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move inventory efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct cycle counts, and ensure stock levels are optimized.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of safety hazards in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including packing lists and freight bills, accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred.
- Licensure: Valid forklift certification (OSHA) is required.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
