Responsibilities
- Efficiently move, load, and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Inspect materials for damage/defects and maintain accurate inventory records
- Operate warehouse equipment safely while adhering to OSHA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production/shipping deadlines
- Optimize warehouse organization and implement lean practices
- Assist in inventory audits and cycle count processes
- Maintain clean, organized workstations and equipment
- Support safety initiatives and incident prevention protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred
- Minimum 2 years warehouse/material handling experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in varied temperatures
- Proficiency with inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
