Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading and invoices to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
- Organize stockpiles of materials in designated areas and maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Prepare and pack products for shipment, ensuring proper labeling, documentation, and handling.
- Perform daily cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain inventory integrity.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory needs and operational issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a similar role is preferred.
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one) is a significant plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Basic computer proficiency for inventory tracking systems.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
