Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping
- Lead and mentor 10-15 team members, ensuring performance targets and safety protocols are met
- Implement process improvements to optimize productivity and reduce operational costs
- Conduct regular safety audits and enforce OSHA compliance standards
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics activities with transportation and procurement teams
- Utilize WMS systems to maintain accurate inventory records and reporting
- Resolve operational challenges and escalate critical issues to senior leadership
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in high-volume distribution environments
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training required
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to motivate teams
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Valid forklift certification and equipment operation experience
- Associates degree in logistics, supply chain, or business management preferred
