Responsibilities
- Safely move, load, and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques
- Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage; verify against packing lists
- Maintain organized inventory storage systems with precise labeling and documentation
- Operate warehouse equipment following OSHA safety standards and company protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Conduct routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs promptly
- Support cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain data accuracy
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; warehouse experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory management
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software
- Commitment to safety compliance and efficient material handling practices
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions and follow written instructions
