Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts to move palletized goods in high-volume warehouse
- Execute inventory control procedures using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain OSHA compliance standards and promote safety culture
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient order fulfillment
- Optimize stacking/loading techniques to maximize trailer space utilization
- Train new hires on equipment operation and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (current or expired within 6 months)
- Minimum 2 years warehouse forklift experience in fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Proficiency with warehouse inventory systems (e.g., WMS, RF scanners)
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Flexibility to work nights/weekends with overtime premiums
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
