Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials manually or using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks
- Move materials to and from storage areas, production areas, and loading docks
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to inventory control system
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, including forklifts and conveyor systems
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock movements
- Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies to supervisor
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year of material handling or warehouse experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification within 30 days
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
