Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to ensure timely processing.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing stock, utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all items are properly packaged and labeled before storage or shipment.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations at all times.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on warehouse equipment to ensure it is in safe working condition.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- License: Valid driver's license required; forklift certification is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain high accuracy standards.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
