Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials safely using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accurate stock placement in designated storage areas.
- Inspect forklift equipment for safety issues and perform basic maintenance checks.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent accidents and hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA preferred).
- Previous experience operating powered industrial trucks (e.g., sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled warehouse environment.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory or operating warehouse management systems.
