Responsibilities
- Material Movement: Safely load, unload, and transport goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Control: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, maintain accurate stock records, and organize warehouse spaces.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean work area.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping using warehouse management software.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance checks on warehouse equipment and report issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
- Licensure: Forklift certification is highly desired but not mandatory for immediate hire.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends if required.
