Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move products by hand or using forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors.
- Inspect incoming shipments for damages and verify accuracy against packing lists.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety regulations.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and movements.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and efficient workflow.
- Perform regular equipment maintenance checks and report any issues immediately.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy machinery (certification required or willing to obtain).
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software systems quickly.
- Valid driver's license (may be required for local transport tasks).
