Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and organize incoming and outgoing freight safely and efficiently using hand trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and verifying stock levels against warehouse management systems.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of safety hazards at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads to prioritize daily tasks and meet shipping deadlines.
- Assist in the preparation of shipments for local and regional delivery.
- Conduct regular quality checks on packaged goods to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred.
- Forklift certification (Class A or B) is a major plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn warehouse software.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
