Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials by hand or using material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse to ensure a safe and efficient workflow.
- Assist in inventory control by counting stock and reporting discrepancies.
- Package and label goods appropriately for shipping and distribution.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred.
- Ability to operate standard warehouse machinery (Forklift certification is a plus).
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
