Responsibilities
- Material Movement: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and move materials to and from storage areas.
- Inventory Management: Perform regular cycle counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Picking & Packing: Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and 5S guidelines.
- Documentation: Accurately complete necessary paperwork and logs for all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other departments to resolve inventory discrepancies and optimize workflow.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment is a plus.
- Certification: Valid Forklift Certification (Class A, B, or C) is required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and perform physical tasks in a warehouse setting.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory software.
- Attitude: Strong commitment to workplace safety and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
