Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, and shipping operations
- Train and mentor warehouse staff on safety protocols, equipment operation, and best practices
- Implement process improvements to optimize workflow and reduce operational costs
- Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate inventory records
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards
- Manage inventory control systems and report discrepancies to management
- Coordinate with transportation teams for timely order fulfillment
- Prepare performance reports and recommend operational adjustments
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and inventory software
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate diverse teams
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment
- High school diploma or GED; associate's degree preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
