Responsibilities
- Material Movement: Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software and perform cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment in accordance with customer orders and quality standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect, clean, and perform basic maintenance on warehouse equipment and machinery.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including packing slips and shipping labels, accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and experience with handheld scanners or inventory systems.
- Certification: Valid Forklift Certification (Class A, B, or C) is highly desirable.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
