Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load and unload trucks, railcars, and conveyors using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Pick, pack, and stage products accurately using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Stock Organization: Maintain accurate inventory levels and organize stock areas to ensure efficient workflow and easy retrieval.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing materials to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and company policies to prevent accidents.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance checks on forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork accurately and on time, including delivery receipts and inventory logs.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Certifications: Ability to obtain a forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Skills: Basic computer proficiency and experience with handheld barcode scanners.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
