Job Overview
As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate movement and storage of goods within our facility. We are looking for reliable individuals who are eager to learn and grow with our team.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Receive, inspect, and stock inventory into the warehouse system.
- Package and prepare shipments for delivery to customers.
- Perform regular cleaning and organization of work areas to maintain safety standards.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock rotation.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and other departments.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred (or equivalent work experience).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and scanning.
- Willingness to work in varying temperature environments.
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts and weekends if needed.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
