Responsibilities
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload products efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes, performing cycle counts, and updating the warehouse management system.
- Freight Handling: Sort, stage, and organize incoming and outgoing shipments according to delivery schedules and customer orders.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies to ensure a hazard-free working environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect goods for damage during transit and report discrepancies immediately to the shift supervisor.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and clutter-free to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Licensure: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (or willingness to obtain one through our training program).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with handheld scanners.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work well in a team setting.
