Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and move materials to and from trucks and storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records by counting stock and verifying quantities against digital systems.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming shipments for damage and ensure all products meet quality standards before storage.
- Packaging & Shipping: Properly package, label, and prepare items for shipment to ensure timely delivery.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the workspace organized, clean, and safe in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack orders efficiently to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- License: Valid forklift certification is highly preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable mode of transportation and a consistent work history.
