Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight trucks efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Verify and inspect incoming materials for damages, defects, or discrepancies against packing lists.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated storage areas, ensuring optimal space utilization.
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory levels accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Prepare shipments for delivery, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as required by management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Forklift certification (if applicable, otherwise willing to train qualified candidates).
