Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight: Safely handle and organize incoming and outgoing shipments using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Picking and Packing: Efficiently pick, pack, and label orders to ensure customer satisfaction and meet shipping deadlines.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of material handling equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred.
- Licensure: Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and strong attention to detail.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
