Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Accurately check, count, and verify incoming and outgoing stock against purchase orders.
- Stock Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by following proper storage protocols.
- Picking and Packing: Select items for orders and prepare them for shipment with attention to detail.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspection and basic maintenance of warehouse equipment and report issues immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including packing slips and receiving logs, accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing setting is preferred but not required for entry-level candidates.
- License: Valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) is a plus.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and walk throughout the warehouse.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to count, verify, and manage inventory with high accuracy.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
