Responsibilities
- Material Movement: Safely load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels and organize warehouse storage areas efficiently.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming shipments for damages and discrepancies before processing.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including packing lists and shipping logs.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and logistics coordinators to meet daily targets.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not required.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Equipment: Forklift certification is a plus; we offer on-site training for the right candidate.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
