Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move materials within the warehouse.
- Receive and Inspect Inventory: Check incoming shipments for accuracy, completeness, and damage, ensuring proper documentation and logging.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision and speed to meet strict customer deadlines.
- Inventory Management: Assist in cycle counts, stock organization, and maintaining accurate inventory records using WMS systems.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe by adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Training: Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one) is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and ensure accuracy in inventory tracking.
- Communication: Basic computer literacy and ability to communicate effectively with team members.
